Art Philosophy
For me, Art has never been limited to a single form, material, or tradition. It is a language beyond words, a bridge between what we feel and what we can show. From my earliest memories as a child drawing on asphalt streets in Bulgaria to my present-day work in modern abstraction on glass, my artistic path has always been about transformation of materials, spaces, and perceptions.
Glass, in particular, holds a special place in my creative universe. It is a medium of light and fragility, of resilience and transparency. Working with glass allows me to capture both the fleeting and the eternal, to express emotion in ways that shift with time, angle and illumination. Modern abstraction gives me the freedom to let intuition lead, to dissolve the familiar, and to invite the viewer into a personal, interpretative experience. Each piece becomes a dialogue between the seen and the unseen.
My work is shaped by landscapes, human connection, animals, sea-life, and a lifetime of crossing cultural borders from Bulgaria to Greece, the Netherlands to Australia. Every environment I’ve called home has added to my palette of inspiration. I believe in art’s power not only to adorn, but to awaken: to elevate ordinary spaces and to stir the quiet, essential parts of our inner lives.
Art, for me, is both sanctuary and conversation. It is a way to honour the invisible threads that tie us to each other and to the places we inhabit. Through workshops and exhibitions, I find joy in sharing this philosophy, encouraging others to discover their own voice through the creative act.
